You might think that physically fit people enjoy more success in life, and you’d be correct. While it’s true that people that are aware of their need to be fit, usually display a better attitude and overall appearance, that’s not the main key that opens the door to success for them.
Rather, the key that actually works in this arena, is the fact that they’ve proven successful in knowing how to set achievable goals and persist until achieving them. Once this is accomplished in their personal life, it becomes habitual and spills over into other areas of life as well.
With a clear proven strategy of setting and attaining the goals they set for themselves, they naturally become more appealing to potential employers and in the job force. Their history of committed persistence until success is achieved is an attractive attribute to possess and one an employer would be glad to add to their teams.
This driven determination not only helps them be successful, but it gives them a sense of fulfillment as well. That persistent, don’t quit attitude is often revealed from the get-go during an interview. Especially if given an opportunity by the interviewer to express what was involved in attaining the level of physical fitness that’s obviously visible.
As a result, they are automatically viewed as a more responsible candidate for the job. Someone that shows up even, on the not-so-great days, and still knows how to get the job done.
Interviewers are looking for people who show that they persist at tasks to completion, despite any obstacles thrown their way. They can read the determination and see the promise in someone who’s physically fit by the confident way they carry themselves.
Seeing how fitness success spills over into this area of life, won’t you agree that this would be a good reason to aim for getting in great shape, faster? 🙂
